Privacy & Data Protection
BankPulse is in public beta. Everything here is information, not verified financial or legal advice. Always confirm against the official RBI source.
Last updated: 22 June 2026. This notice explains what personal data BankPulse collects, why, and your rights. We follow the principles of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
What we collect
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address, the time you subscribed, the page you subscribed from, and a one-way hashed form of your IP (for abuse-prevention only). If you submit a correction (“Spotted an error?”), we store the text you enter and, if you provide it, your email — so we can credit you.
Why we collect it & legal basis
We process your email only with your consent, to send the daily banking-update newsletter. Correction data is used to verify and improve accuracy. We never sell your data and show no third-party ads.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe. On unsubscribe or an erasure request, we remove your address promptly.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To unsubscribe, use the unsubscribe page. For any request, contact [email protected].
Security
Your subscriber data (email, name and role) is stored in our managed PostgreSQL database on Supabase, hosted in India (AWS Mumbai region). Access is restricted, row-level security is enabled so the data is reachable only by our own server-side processes, and we collect the minimum necessary and never place personal data in URLs.
